Salinas, California – Jun 16, 2004

Full Steam Marketing & Design has received two impressive industry awards for its "Bountiful Harvest" video work done for The National Steinbeck Center. The "Award of Distinction" was granted from The Videographer Awards and the "Platinum Best of Show" was bestowed from The Aurora Awards.

The Videographer Awards is an international organization that helps set the standards for the video production industry. Full Steam’s winning work was selected from 2,134 entries submitted to the 2004 competition from throughout the U.S. and several foreign countries.

The Aurora Awards is an independent film and video competition for commercials, cable programming and documentaries, industrial, instructional and corporate videos. Entries for the Aurora Awards came from all over the world. "Platinum Best of Show" is the highest honor given.

"It’s a privilege to have won these two awards, and it has been a gratifying experience being involved with The National Steinbeck Center. Full Steam is grateful to have been given the chance to work on such a wonderful project." Said Joshua Eiseman, New Media Producer at Full Steam.

The award winning video was created to give viewers a personal look at the history and people of Salinas Valley’s agriculture industry. Many languages and cultures are represented in the video, which also features commentaries by the area’s "Who’s Who." Full Steam shot the video using state-of-the-art high definition equipment. The video plays daily in the center’s Orientation Theater.

The "Bountiful Harvest" video is just one project Full Steam has completed for The National Steinbeck Center; the agency also designed the center’s logo and website.
